Join us for the first annual community appreciation day at backstreet cultural museum.

in memory of the museum’s founder sylvester francis, we will be celebrating the community and all he built in this community. with the help of our pals at Piece of Meat Butcher we will be serving up free red beans and rice, Pulled pork sandwiches, and slaw.

refreshments will be served. books, tshirts, and cds will be available for sale. the event offers the perfect opportunity to become a member of the backstreet cultural museum or renew your membership. donations are welcome.
